Built to keep business cash working, not waiting
May Locvinh exists to turn idle reserves into a continuously managed, data-driven allocation process — so cash on the balance sheet stops being a passive line item.
From a simple question to a disciplined process
May Locvinh started from a straightforward observation: most businesses hold meaningful cash reserves that sit in accounts earning little, while treasury decisions are made infrequently and manually. We set out to replace that gap with a structured, repeatable process built around data analysis rather than guesswork.
What began as an internal framework for evaluating liquidity options grew into a dedicated platform. The focus has stayed the same throughout: give businesses a clear, continuously updated view of where their cash is working, and support each allocation decision with analysis rather than assumption.
Today May Locvinh is used as a layer between a company's cash position and its allocation decisions — monitoring conditions, surfacing options, and keeping the process consistent over time.
Make continuous liquidity management the default, not the exception
We believe cash reserves deserve the same level of ongoing attention as any other part of the business. Our mission is to make that attention structural — built into a process — rather than dependent on someone remembering to review it.
What guides how we build May Locvinh
These principles shape the decisions behind the platform, from how analysis is structured to how information is presented.
Clarity over complexity
Liquidity decisions should be understandable, not obscured behind jargon. We present analysis in terms a finance team can act on directly.
Consistency over timing
We favor a disciplined, repeatable process over attempts to predict short-term moves. Consistency is easier to sustain and easier to evaluate.
Transparency in process
Every allocation decision should be traceable to a reason. We design the platform so the logic behind each step is visible, not hidden.
Respect for reserves
Cash reserves fund real obligations. Our approach to risk reflects that reserves are there to be available, not just to be optimized.
A focused group working on one problem
May Locvinh is built by a small team concentrated on a single area — the ongoing management of business cash reserves. Rather than a broad product roadmap, our work stays centered on refining this one process: monitoring conditions, structuring decisions, and improving how analysis is communicated back to the businesses that rely on it.
How we work: small, cross-functional groups own the platform end to end — from the underlying data analysis to the interface a finance team actually uses. That structure keeps the distance short between an idea and something a client can rely on.
